Diff-aware validation

Paste the before and after versions. Both are validated with identical settings and findings are matched by stable fingerprints, not line numbers.

Fingerprints, not line numbers

A finding’s fingerprint combines its layer, rule, document, JSON path and normalised message, so inserting lines above it does not make it look new. Fingerprints are computed locally and never sent anywhere.

Questions

Is my YAML uploaded anywhere?

No. Parsing, schema validation, rules, fixes and reports all run in your browser (validation runs in a Web Worker). There is no backend, no account and no content analytics. Drafts and history are stored only in this browser’s IndexedDB, and you can clear them or switch to memory-only mode.
